Carol’s Spicey Banting Tuna Fishcakes

How to bake it

Ingredients

  • 3 Tins Drained tuna
  • 1 Large Red Onion
  • 1 Tbs Coconut Flour
  • 1 Tsp Xanthan gum
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 5ml Cajun Spice
  • 1 Extra Large Egg (beaten)
  • 2 Slices Banting Bread

Instructions

  • Chop & fry union in Coconut Oil.


  • Fry onion and let it cool.
  • Mix tuna with all other ingredients.
  • Add cooled onion and beaten egg.
  • Mix well.
  • Form into 6 large or 12 small patties.
  • Fry in coconut oil till cooked and golden brown.
  • Drizzel with Carbsmart Mayonnaise or Sweet Chilli.
  • Enjoy with fresh salad.
